Birth Of A King; Boiflexy(cave-man rapper)

The music scene in Ghana is flooded with a lot of underground acts hoping to make it mainstream but the harsh reality is, only a few who are putting in a lot of effort today will make it. For instance, the  likes of Sarkodie, EL and other big names started with a host of others. Where are they now?
It is a competitive world out here and only the creative, persistent and hardworking ones will stand the test of time.
Lite-Gh presents you with an underground act who's putting in a lot of work to be recognised. A lot of people know him as Boiflexy but his real name is Franklin Aboah, a civil engineering graduate of Kumasi polytechnic.

Boiflexy is a hiplife/hiphop artist born in Aburi in the Eastern region of Ghana. The civil engineering graduate is a former student of Koforidua Secondary Technical School where his rap career began.
What got him going back in the days, was the heavy support of friends, the most influential being Henry Deey. The two would record tracks in the latter's bedroom.

Franklin is signed on to his  record label 'Levelcity Music' and has been faring quite well. What makes him stand out among the  lots is that despite being an underground artist, he already has an album to his credit and is relentlessly working towards a second. Yes, an album! How many underground rappers can boast of this feet?

It is a nine-track album that dropped this March. The title is Renovation and It's available on Soundcloud, Audiomack and Datafile. Download and listen while we anticipate the big one, 'Birth Of A King'.

Stick and stay for updates.
