Maiden Edition Of Tertiary Music Awards To Be Held At Nat'l Theatre



Organisers of the maiden edtion of the Tertiary Music Awards have proposed the National Theatre as the most convenient venue to host the much awaited event.
The date for the event has not been agreed upon yet but the panel responsible for nominating the songs that stand out from the numerous lot submitted commenced their work on february 3rd.

Nominees will be awarded in over Thirteen(13) categories. These categories include:

*Artist of the year
*Hiplife artist of the year
*Dancehall artist of the year
*International Artist
*Hippop artist of the year
*Female vocalist of the year
*Male vocalist of the year
*Gospel artist of the year
*Best rapper of the year
*Popular song
*Afropop artist of the year
*Best RnB artist of the year
*Best JAMA group
*Best Cypher group

Winners are going to be chosen based on 100 percent public voting.

Speaking with Mr. Courage  D. Galley, director of the upcoming event, he revealed that the main mission of the awards scheme is to identify and mentor upcoming artistes in tertiary institutions and induct them into the mainstream music industry.

"TerMa will be organised annually to impact positively on the music scene. We look out for values such as Loyalty, Originality, Respect and Discipline (L.O.R.D) and we are resolute that this initiative will spread accross the continent in no time."

He thanked all tertiary artistes, managers, media partners and sponsors for their support.




Courage D. Galley, founder of Tomorrow's Leaders Incorporated is a Ghanaian born in Burma Camp-Accra. He is a product of Apam Senior High School and a graduate of the University of Development Studies - Wa campus with a bachelor's degree in business Studies with an emphasis on management studies.
He was a deputy chairperson of the Business Students Association (BUSA-UDS)
