Ghanaian Artistes And The Slaughter House

Sometimes I wonder what  'beef' has got to do with two artistes who are on each others throat for no logical reason because I love beef as meat, my mother will attest to that.
Ask 99 percent of those artistes who claim they have beefs with their fellow musicians how a cattle is slaughtered, processed and transformed into 'beef' and the answers will be stunning yet, they pick up beefs as if they work full time at the slaughter house.

Now in case you have no idea what I'm talking about then here it is; M.anifest and Sarkodie, two Ghanaian rappers have entangled themselves in a back to back diss affair just when Shata Wale and Samini had given Ghanaians a break.
It all began when Sarkodie started calling himself "the king of Ghana rap" and heightened when he dropped the tune 'Bossy'.
M.anifest then took a swing at the BET award winner in his latest record titled godMC, implying that if Sarkodie is a king then he(M.anifest) is a 'god'. Here are excerpts for the lame person who knows little about dissing;

Sarkodie: I'm a king but I don't feel gotta wear crown. #bossy

M.anifest: What's a king to a god emcee? #godmc

Sarkodie: Mehn I'm feeling bossy. #bossy

M.anifest: When the boss is around who can you boss around? #godmc

The funny thing is Sarkodie was not aiming at M.anifest because in his #bossy track, he used M.anifest's signature and gave him big ups for that but one will also say that M.anifest cannot fold his arms and be considered a commoner while Sark claims to be king. He also has the right to the throne and so has E.L, Padae, and other equally good rap artistes.

Sarkodie: M.anifest mesrɛ lemme just use your dor dor dor ti dor to end this verse. #bossy

M.anifest: Go to the market and buy yourself some manners, Don't use my name in vain, that's just for starters. #godmc.

This got on Sarkodie's nerves because the rapper who has refused to pick up a fight with any artist over the years has released a new one called #kanta aimed at M.anifest. It started to trend on twitter just a few hours after it's release.
The title alone does a lot of damage to the Afrocentric rapper (M.anifest) because Sarkodie implies that he does the shopping for his attires at Kantamanto, hence #kanta.
In case you haven't heard, here is a little:

Sarkodie: Obi bɛ diss me a na ɛnyɛ rapper aa ɔde GTP® pam kaba #kanta

Nansa yi sɛ boys nni swag na ntaadeɛ no ndɔɔso a ɔmo claimi afrocentric #kanta

"Ntɔtɔfeefee wanna diss,
They beat around the bush onua woyɛ b*tch
Joe na sɛ beef na wopɛ aa get your numbers up ɛnyɛ saa aa mɛ sɛrvi wo fish" #kanta

"Swag na wo nni o, ɛnyɛ sɛ you no want shadda
Dope rapper bɛn na ɔde Woodin® pam kaba?
Afrocentric? haha, masa..." #kanta

Remember M.anifest asked Sarkodie not to use his name in vain? Here is Sark's reply

"ɔbede mebɔ wodin aa kyerɛ sɛ wobɛkɔ heaven" #kanta

Some pretty hot punches there.
Manifest is yet to reply but when he does, they should leave 'beef' out of it. If they want to work at the slaughter house they should just say it. Yabrɛ mo! But hey, that's what makes it interesting.
As fans eagerly await M.anifest's reply the question is this; is Sarkodie the rap king or it's M.anifest?

Meanwhile Miss controversial, Afia Schwarzenegger and Mr. Controversial, Oneluv Kuborlor have added their voices the Sark-M.anifest situation. We will bring you details of that in our next article.
