I Feel Betrayed By NPP Executives - Sammy Tuger
Sammy Tuger, real name Samuel Anakwah, a cinematographer and satirist has expressed his dissatisfaction towards NPPs executives for failing to honour their words after he actively campaigned for the then opposition which is now at the helm of affairs in the country.
Sammy Tuger who released his rendition of the popular 'Choices' tune in solidarity to the current president's campaign message was brought on to actively campaign for the New Patriotic Party in the Greater Accra region with the promise of settling him along with dozens of others when the party was elected into power. However, the party has spent nearly hundred days in office as the ruling government of the land yet still, promises made are yet to be fulfilled.
The filmmaker and fast rising comedian revealed his disbelief at the turn out of events and said he is beginning to lose faith in the NPP.
"If the executives are finding it difficult to honour the promise they made to their own members then I am tempted to believe that they will be unable to help the president fulfil his mandate. Charity begins at home." He said in an interview.
He hopes the situation is ratified as soon as possible to avoid provocations and misunderstandings in the party.
