Wealthy Family Donate To The Children Of Yahoman
Andywealth Asare's Wealthy Family, a registered charitable organisation based in Ghana made the day of kids numbering close to 200 in Yahoman, a community in the outskirts of the Greater Accra region. It is a bumpy 30 minute drive from Amasaman.
In the event dubbed "Imitating Christ", Christmas came early for the kids and indeed, some adults as the Wealthy Family Group donated school stationery including exercise books, text books, bags, pens, pencils and erasers amongs others, footballs, clothing, etc.
That was not all. The party would have been incomplete without food, drinks and good music. All three elements were present and in abundance and made the event an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.
The children and adults alike were also engaged in other activities comprising musical chairs, dancing competitions and a spelling bee session that took the crew by surprise. It was amazing how children from such a deprived area spelt complex and tricky words with ease and finnese. It was an eye opener!
The C.E.O and founder who doubles as a recording artiste thanked every individual who helped made the event a success and also used the opportunity to call on the general public and coporate entities to partner with the Wealthy Family Group in order to reach more people.
"We've been doing this for quite sometime now; from orphanages, to the autism awareness center, to deprived villages, you just name it. Through it all, we finance everything by ourselves and we are grateful to God. However we would like to call upon others, whoever it may be to help push this course nothing is too small"
Andywealth said in an interview.
Well said Andy. It could not have been put better.
There joy and excitement the children experienced as the ate, drank, danced and recieved took home items only goes a long way to butress the fact that there is no better way to show one's love to God than helping the needy and less priviledged. Put a smile on someone's face today!
